31 years at sea, ashore since 2002; didn't know how good i had it at sea! It was an interesting and somewhat challenging adjustment to transition to a life working ashore; had never needed to integrate "life" and work before.

Update: Now transitioning into the cool-down/ramp-down/slow-down phase to enjoy these last few years before my and our (collective) dotage.

Another update: Tomorrow (6/1/22) I start with Commonwealth LNG, Marine and LNG Consultant and will take this through to the first cargo, about four years hence. Am posting this, not that it's so important in and of itself, it's that the decision and plan is for this gig to be the last one before heading for the barn. I will be ready, methinks! Stay well; our shared experience is a blessing to me! By the way, so far no "Vid" and I'm fully vaccinated, and triple boosted; the luck of the draw..... it is certainly not because I live right, not by half!
