I am also saddened by Bob's passing. I know we all will see more names as time goes on. I thought we would live forever, or that was my thought as we graduated. Bob was always nice, always there for his friends.

Dennis was quite, but was always smiling. It's true that as a class we knew everyone and we have been very fortunate to stay in touch over the years. It saddens me that we are getting older. I know that passing away is the progression of life. But with that being said, it doesn't get easier. I am thank for you all.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a very sweet girl and I enjoyed knowing her.

Happy Birthday, Jan!
Carolyn and I go way back to grammer school. We would play together on Saturdays and torment Marilyn. Carolyn’s father and my grandfather worked together as janitors at Traip so that was another playground for the two of us. She laughed and smiled then. Everyone has mentioned her smile and laughter, it was infectious and always lifted spirits. Her heart was as big as her smile. I will hold dear the last phone call I got from her as it too was full of laughter. She was the best.
Happy Birthday, Jan!

As I have just given myself time to sit still and read all the birthdays I missed and the other news, I am taking time to say sorry ALL, Happy birthday to every one, hope it was. Great. At our age, what do we define as great!! Please tell me it a WILD EVENING!! Well, let's pretend it was. Ok, done with b.d. Apologies!! On to other things in everyone's lives. Noted grandchildren successes, new marriages, great pictures, great trips, hospital stays : please people, stay away from those places!! They can make things worse. Oh yes, we all need to clear the air of : hip replacements, knee replacements, back surgery, foot surgery, arthritis coronary disease, cataracts, I need not go on to more personal disfunctions. Let's just remember when we thought those things were for old PEOPLE, not the class of 1966. I am fine, here in the mountains of north Georgia, still have my horse,we are aging together , he is 27. Dating, dining, wine- ing, whining, lots of activities, lots of friends . Of course, I fit in some of the above health catagoies, but let's not go there agin.
So, hope all who read this forgive me missing birthdays and your other important events. Have a blessed day, and take care of yourselves. See you at the next GOLGEN WHATEVER. God, that sounds awful, how did we get there!!!!
