I would very much would like a get together Friday eve and or Sunday!! It is nice to visit with others more than just one evening. Friday would probably be a better choice as others my be leaving the area on Sunday .

I think a  casual get together either Friday or Sunday would be great. What is available in the area?

At the last reunion a group of people gathered Friday night, and there was a cookout at Four Tree Island in Portsmouth on Sunday; not too many people went on Sunday, but those who did had a good time. Most public places, indoor and out, require reservations in advance, so someone would have to look into that.

Let's do a re-run of Friday night at the Went if anyone is game to do so.  I will set this up about a month ahead of time with an approximate number of attendees.  We can each pay our own way if that will work for all.

Sunday brunch.  brunch, is a great idea. Getting up in the early in am for breakfast might not be conduosive falling a party.

Greg, suggest you count on getting together at the Went on Friday!  See you then if not before, dear friend!

Getting together at the Wentworth sounds great.  Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Brunch would be great, but remember, we need an accurate head count.  I will have to let Norma know.  They can seat <50.

Good to see all of the suggestions.  ....Arny

I'm in for Friday at Wentworth & Sunday at Norma's too (or wherever). Please let me know what I can do to help from afar too. Are we also inviting those classmates who started school with us but moved away before graduation? Several of us have befriended some of those old pals thanks to social media. It would be great to see them again too if they might come, i.e. those would have graduated with us if their families had not moved or they had not changed schools, like Elizabeth Feder Gustafson, Leslie Knight Frazier, Beverley Armsden Daniel, etc.

Susan, your point is well taken.  My perspective is that our reunion ISN'T a HS reunion but (for lack of a better name) a reunion of our school mates.  It follows then, that my opinion is, yes, please do include Bev, Leslie, Liz, et al.

As I've said before, we share a bond and I, for one, believe that each and every one of our school mates influenced me, all in a positive way.  We grew up together and that's really nothing to sneeze at; the very diversity of our group helped to prepare us to move from our cloistered existence in Kittery out into the world.  From my perspective, we are blessed to have each other.

Arnie, regarding the head count, we'll also need a reasonably accurate HC for Friday at the Went as well.  The exact count is likely irrelevant but they'll want to know if it's 20 or 40, for instance.  We've time aplenty to figure this out, of course.  In this regard, if our classmate will let me know, I’ll build a spread sheet for Friday night’s attendance.  My direct personal email is: PatatSea@aol.com

Susan, all those people are on our mailing list and have been sent the mailing. They also are on this website. Not to worrysmiley

Good afternoon all,

I think that Joan Kennedy and Beverly Armsden Daniel plan to attend the reunion.
There are other people who cannot seem to be found.  Perhaps, for various reason, they don't want to be found.  If you know of any that we cannot find, but might like to attend the reunion, please let us know.
I think that Chilla's comment on meeting at Traip before the reunion on Saturday evening would be a good idea.  We can get a 50-year Class picture on the steps of the old gym.  We can also get photos of each other.
Has anyone though of having a booklet, like we had for the 45th reunion?  Any ideas?

Thanks for all the input,
Arny

I'm planning to come, at least to Saturday night.  Are spouses welcome?

Please respond to the Evite link on the home page. It will help us to pin down costs for the reunion and establish a registration fee. Thank you!

Laura, I've got to say I love that cat ears design! Brunch lasts until 2:00 at the Wentworth. How late does it go at Norma's?
